Pastor Chris McCombs
Pastor Chris McCombs has been involved in ministry opportunities for over 20 years. During those years he has served as youth pastor, minister of evangelism, Armed Forces chaplain, and senior pastor. He has been a senior pastor of three congregations since July 2001. Pastor Chris has an undergraduate degree in psychology, a Master's degree in Public Administration, and a Master of Divinity and Counseling degree from a Southern Baptist Seminary. Pastor Chris served as an officer and pilot in the United States Armed Forces, where he obtained command and staff experience. He also served as a chaplain for the National Guard while in seminary.

Associate Pastor Joe Fessler
Pastor Joe joined the pastoral staff of LPBC in July of 2013. Pastor Joe has previously led children's ministry, as well as developed programs and curriculum for youth and education at churches in Texas and Florida. He is happily married to his wife Jenny and the proud father of their daughter, Elaina. Pastor Joe is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and oversees the youth and education ministries of LPBC. Some of Pastor Joe's hobbies include study of church history, writing, and any sports he can play.

Praise & Worship Director Ben Gilbert
Ben Gilbert serves as the Worship Leader for Sunday Morning. Ben works full-time as an engineer in our community and has played guitar in the LPBC praise band since its beginning in 1998. He is currently planning and directing worship.

Voices In Praise Director Charity Reynolds
Charity Reynolds serves as the Director of Voices In Praise, our adult worship choir.
Voices in Praise Director: Charity has a deep-rooted family history with LPBC and is happy to once again call it home. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful daughters. charity has a BA in Music from St. Mary's College of MD and, over the years, worked with music groups of all ages and types - including church adult and youth ensembles, and in a private, individual setting. She enjoys sharing her love of music with others and helping them to appreciate it as well.Charity Reynolds
Wednesday Worship (WOW) Leader Ashley Davidson
Ashley serves as the worship leader for Worship on Wednesday. She has attended LPBC since 2001 and played in the youth praise band throughout high school. A 2015 graduate of Cedarville University, she now works as an electrical engineer in the area. She started leading praise on Wednesdays in 2016 and has a heart for introducing the congregation to new worship music. Wednesday Worship (WOW) Leader: Ashley Davidson
Executive Assistant / Preschool Administrator - Kate Barrett
Kate serves as the Executive Assistant to the Pastor. Miss Kate taught two year olds at LPBC Preschool for 5 years and is now the preschool administrator as well. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration from the University of West Florida and many years of experience in both office and educational settings. Miss Kate has one daughter in middle school and another in grade school. In addition to her duties at preschool and in the office, Miss Kate also volunteers extensively at LBPC. She cooks the Wednesday night fellowship dinners, coordinates Fall Fest, volunteers in the nursery and at VBS she is “the snack lady.” When she is not at church, she is either running or reading.
Receptionist Cindy Hardman
Cindy came to LPBC with her family in 1974. Married to her husband Mike, she is a proud mom of two daughters and gramma to two grandbabies. She serves as a Sunday School teacher, hand-bell ringer, and occasional choir member. She is also an English and GED Instructor for the College of Southern Maryland. It is her joy to help folks feel at home here.Cindy Hardman
Bookkeeper Mary Bowen
Mary Bowen is currently serving as the LPBC Bookkeeper. Mary moved to Southern Maryland with her husband and oldest son in 1994 and made LPBC their home. They were later blessed with two more boys who were born in St. Mary’s County. Mary began her Christian education in the Philippines as a daughter of missionaries and attended Christian schools in NY, CT, MA and ME. She continued her education at Liberty University studying elementary education and taking courses in business & accounting. She has Over 9 years management experience in New England and 11 years in office management for a local real estate company. She served as a substitute Church Secretary while homeschooling for several years before joining LPBC full-time as the Church Secretary in 2015. Mary moved to Bookkeeping in January of 2017. Mary has served in LPBC ministry areas as Church Clerk, AWANA director and Children’s Worship Director as well as service with the youth and in the choir.Mary Bowen
Church Photograher - Doreen McKean
She was brought up in a Christian home. Her parents were always involved in church ministry. She got involved in ministry at an early age. In high school, she went to missionary school with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Using her training, she became a VBS specialist with group publishing and loves teaching others how to save money on VBS and decorating. While working for Sears Portrait Studios, she got a CPI certification in photography. She managed a studio and trained a photographer. She has been a photographer for over 30 years. She loves doing special events, weddings, families, children, and senior photos and more.
Sarah Marshall serves at the afternoon receptionist. Sarah was born in Dallas, TX, where she lived most of her life. Her love for God started at an early age, and she attended First Baptist Church Dallas for many years. Sarah has an extensive background working with children. She managed three preschools in the Dallas area for over 15 years. Sarah is married to Andrew Marshall, a former Air Force Officer, and together they are raising three sons. Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as her dog and two cats. Sarah's favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9, which is her motivation every day to be strong and courageous.Sarah Marshall
Natalie Hayes is the Friday receptionist. She came to LPBC with her family. She is nineteen years old and is working in the office while currently in school at the College of Southern Maryland. She will graduate from school next fall with her Associates Degree. She is planning on furthering her education to become a certified veterinary technician. She loves to spend time with her family and going to the beach with her dogs!Natalie Hayes
